Gary and Amanda's wedding - All Saints Church Pontefract to Wentbridge House
Gary and Amanda married on Sunday at All Saints Church in Pontefract before celebrating at nearby Wentbridge House.
All Saints Church in Pontefract has a stunning old church exterior with a bight white interior making it perfect on both counts for wedding photographs, plus when the vicar greets you with ''Now then old cock how's tha doing'' you know it's going to be a good service! Having photographed a number of weddings at All Saints Church, Vic knows me well and trusts me to remain unobtrusive whilst taking photographs from the front of the church, perfect for the bride and groom's coverage.
Following the ceremony Gary and Amanda left All Saints for Wentbridge House travelling by Horse and Carriage. On their arrival the celebrations began with a drinks reception and some photos on the lawn before the wedding breakfast.
Between the wedding breakfast and evening reception we took advantage of the blue skies and headed back onto the lawn for some more photographs of the happy couple. With a surprise first dance out of the way Amanda decided to toss the bouquet to a waiting group of single ladies. The first toss didn't quite work out as planned with the flowers getting caught in one of the low hanging chandeliers !
