Nick and Asheley's wedding - Wragby Church at Nostell Priory to Wentbridge House

An early wedding on Friday for Nick and Asheley who were married in Wragby Church within the grounds of Nostell Priory on the outskirts of Wakefield. Covering Asheley's preparations first in Normanton it was a short dash to church to shoot Nick and the guys before the ceremony.

The recent spell of good weather seems to be continuing, not so great for the guys in suits but brilliant for the photographs! The odd fluffy cloud provided some respite but the added great light to the photographs.

Following the ceremony we then headed to Nostell Priory itself for a few photographs in front of the house. (The actual image of the building is copyright and the National Trust require advance notice of intended use and of course  with this comes the payment of small fee!).

The wedding reception took place at Wentbridge House near Pontefract where the good weather continued and with all the photos out of the way in quick time Nick and Asheley had plenty of time to spend with the guests allowing plenty of great candid photos before the meal was served.

The evening ended as it dropped dark with photos of the happy couple on the lawn.

Damien and Kerry's wedding - Emley Church to Walton Hall at Waterton Park

Wow what a day! The forecast looked excellent with gin clear blue skies and the promise of some warm sunshine, weather every bride dreams of for their wedding day.

The day started at Kerry's mum's house in Netherton were preparations were well underway, some dress and shoes shots and it was time for the finishing touches to the make up and the opportunity for me to grab some shots of Kerry before she climbed into her wedding dress.

The next stop was the Church of St Michaels in Emley for their wedding ceremony. With a pub nearby it wasn't difficult to guess Damien's location. Dutch courage sorted, we managed some shots outside the church before Kerry arrived with her Bridesmaids and father. Kerry Arrived ten minutes early to allow some time for some photos outside the church before the wedding  - The perfect bride! The rules inside the church were relaxed with the instruction only to ''be discrete'' allowing me the opportunity to photograph the ceremony from the front whilst Lauren covered the images from the rear.

We stopped of enroute to Waterton Park for some photographs of Damien and Kerry and so allowing their guests to leapfrog the wedding party and be at Walton hall ready to greet them on their arrival. Top marks to the car company for their helpfulness and willingness to do whatever we asked of them.

With a lot of the photos already completed the time before the wedding breakfast at Walton Hall was the perfect opportunity for Damien, Kerry and their wedding guests to take in the views, enjoy the sunshine and of course champagne. It was also the ideal opportunity for us to shoot plenty of natural and candid photos.

Shortly after their first dance we headed out on the lawn for some sunset images before we rounded off the evening's photographs with some outdoor shots in the dark just after ten.

Kerry and Damien were up early the next morning to jet off on their honeymoon. Heading somewhere warm and sunny was no doubt perfect motivation for waking up at daft O'clock!

Andrew and Sarah's wedding - Felkirk Church to Wentbridge House

Andrew and Sarah married in Felkirk Church near south Hiendley on Friday afternoon. The excellent church on the edge of the village offered plenty of photo opportunities and thanks to a great vicar we were able to make full use of angles form the front and rear of the building.

With the forecast possibly offering us some showers we quickly despatched some of the photos at church before heading over to Wentbridge House. A stop on the way over was the ideal opportunity for some more photos of Andrew and Sarah against the bright but receding yellow of the Oil seed rape and some very tempestuous but stunning skies. As a farming couple both Andrew and Sarah had no qualms about using the edge of the field and wading in before me!

Once at Wentbridge we were able to make use of the lawns for a few more photos before the wedding breakfast was served.

Adam and Ness' wedding - Rogerthorpe Manor near Pontefract

Adam and Ness were married in a civil ceremony  on Sunday at Rogerthorpe Manor near Pontefract. It was certainly better weather than the snow when we did their pre-wedding shoot back in February!

Both Adam and Vanessa were up for photographs and keen to use as many locations as possible for their photos, some late afternoon sun adding a warm glow to the images and even the chance for a few creative (read Arty!) shadow photos.

Julian and Sarah's wedding - Treswell Church to Hodsock Priory near Worksop

The small quaint village church at Treswell near Retford was the venue for Julian and Sarah's wedding on Saturday. The day started out at Sarah's parents for photos of bridal preparation before the ceremony. The weather forecast showed the possibility of rain and it didn't disappoint, shortly after leaving church the heavens opened and we quickly made our way to Hodsock Priory near Worksop were the rain continued for a period before finally allowing us some photo time within the grounds before the wedding breakfast was served.

During the evening I met up with Julian and Sarah again photos in their room before the first dance, finishing off the evening with photos out in the courtyard at Hodsock.
